Ever been curious what La'cryma Christi's music videos are like, but have trouble getting ahold of them? Although this section of the site is starting small now, hopefully it will help satisfy some curiosity surrounding the band's videos.
On this site music videos will be referred to by the Japanese name for them: "PVs." It's short for "promotional video." PVs have never really been La'cryma's strong suit and, even though I love the band, some of their PVs are a little iffy. But they're still lots of fun to watch and it's always great to see what imagery the band associates with their songs. Just watch out for Taka's lack lip synching skills and the sometimes painfully awkward visual style of their earlier videos. They've certainly come a long way from the days of Glass Castle!
The best (and legitimate) way to get ahold of a lot of La'cryma PVs for not a lot of money is to buy the 4U・True Color DVD compilation. Two of their previous PV videos have been put onto one DVD and it costs about half what Japanese DVDs normally cost. (It's about ¥3000.) Plus, it's region free so you can play it on any DVD player. Their second PV collection on DVD, Six Visions, is also region free but it is more expensive and has only six PVs while 4U・True Color has ten.
