Night Flight
the world of La'cryma Christi
La'cryma Christi has a new gig: they're playing in the lounge of a luxury ocean liner! Shuse even has a fancy new upright bass. There's also a mysterious Spanish dancer on the ship, but she's been murdered! Taka, struck with grief, takes it upon himself to investigate her vile murder.
Sadly, Taka can't seem to lip synch properly during his private interludes during the investigation.
Trying to ignore this, he sneaks up on Koji and sees him gripping his wrist and looking intensely into the mirror. What is that evil look on Koji's face? Does "K" stand for "killer?"
Next is Shuse's room. What is Shuse doing in there? Why is the Spanish dancer's ghost standing next to Shuse? When he rips her picture in half and burns it, the mystery only deepens.
Taka finds Levin outside the lounge, next. But this isn't the friendly Levin we all know and love! He has a blank look in his eye and a gun in his hand! What's going on, Levin?
Next it's out onto the deck for Taka, where he finds Hiro with tears in his eyes. The ghost of the dancer shows up and pretends to shoot him. Why? Who did it?
Suddenly, Taka remembers, the person firing the gun had a ring on...and who has a ring on? Only Taka! He did it after all! He's gone insane and now he's after the rest of the band to hide his dirty secret! Another member of the band gets shot, but who is it?
Ah, the dark and tangled world of "Jounestu no kaze."
This is definitely my favorite La'cryma Christi PV. The campy murder mystery plot, the Spanish dancer, the silent movie style captions, and Shuse playing an upright bass. Plus, it's just such an infectiously catchy song. This one really makes the Six Visions DVD.
